Early "Trespassing" Reviews

Adam's sophomore album Trespassing won't make its "official" debut until Tuesday, but thanks to online streaming several reviews have already been coming in. If these early reviews are any indication, it looks like Adam's going to have a chart topper! A 3rd London Date with Queen Added

Adam will now be playing three shows with legendary rock band Queen, at Londons HMV Hammersmith Apollo in July. The third date will take place Saturday, July 14. The band's two dates at the venue - July 11 and 12 - sold out within minutes according to Promoter Paul Roberts.

The added London date will be the final show of five dates Queen and Adam will play together this summer. In addition to the Hammersmith shows, they will also appear at Moscow Sports Arena (July 3) and at The Municipal Stadium, Wroclaw, Poland (July 7).

No Blue Monday for Adam Fans

On the eve of the release of "Trespassing," there will be several ways to catch Adam!

After a fan tweeted Adam asking if his fans would be able to see him on any TV shows other than Chelsea Lately and American Idol, he revealed that he will be appearing on Good Morning America on Monday. GMA airs live from 7:00-9:00am EST on ABC. Musical guests usually perform within the last 30 minutes of the show.

Later in the day, at 3:00pm, he will stop by Billboard's studio for a LIVE Q&A. Adam will be answering fan questions live on camera during the Q&A. Fans can submit questions now by tweeting @Billboard and using the hashtag #BBAdam. Then watch on the Billboard website to see if your question gets answered.

If you're in the New York area that night, you might want to stop by the MLB Fan Cave (corner of 4th and Broadway) for the chance to see Adam perform an exclusive live set from his new album, beginning at 6:30.

If you're not fortunate enough to be able to catch Adam's live performance, you might want to tune in to Jimmy Kimmel at midnight for a repeat showing of his performance from April 26.

Trespassing Bonus Tracks

With the Standard (12 songs) and Deluxe (with 3 bonus tracks) versions of "Trespassing" right around the corner from being released in the US, a couple other versions have been announced.

The Japanese versions will feature one more bonus track, "By the Rules", bringing the total to 16 songs. It will be released on June 6. Both versions will come with their own unique sticker, and the deluxe comes in a gorgeous sparkling silver foil jacket and has a DVD included.

AOL Music Sessions

On May 1, filming started for the video to Adam's latest single "Never Close Our Eyes". According to this tweet from Adam, it wrapped up the following day.

Fans were given a hint as to what the setting and theme might be when the following advert surfaced a couple days before the shoot.

"'DRONES' AGES 18 - 45 / Non-Union / Supporting / Male or Female / All Ethnicities/ 18-45 Very futuristic feel, the look is a stylish, post apocalyptic world, everyone is a drone, but some people, along with Adam, break out and rebel, letting color and vibrancy back into their lives. Could use some interesting faces, some edgy looks (no tattoos), interesting eyes (eyes will be featured a lot). All are supporting roles FYI."

After the videoshoot, Adam tweeted the following picture with the caption "Rebels on the run. "it only gets better if we want it to'"

As of the time of this writing, there hasn't been any word on when the video will be released.

A Milestone for the BTIKM Video

Just 2 months after the release of the "Better Than I Know Myself" video, it has reached the milestone of 5 million views on VEVO's YouTube channel.

This fantastic video, which highlights Adam's light and dark sides, debuted on VH1's Top 20 Video Countdown 5 weeks ago at #17. Three weeks later it peaked at #11 and currently holds the #18 spot on the countdown. You can help keep it on the countdown by voting on the VH1 site. You are allowed 20 votes per day. Following the very disappointing news of the cancellation of Sonisphere from organizers of the Festival, a glimmer of hope was posted on Queen's website. After a copy of Sonisphere's statement, Queen members, Brian May and Roger Taylor, posted the following statement of their own.

"We are disappointed to hear of the cancellation of theSonisphereFestivals as we were very much looking forward to performing with Adam Lambert and particularly as the venue wasKnebworth, our last stand with Freddie. Weapologisefor the disappointment to all those who were looking forward to seeing us.We are working to see if we can redress the situation at some other venue."

The UK's Sonisphere Festival, where Adam was scheduled to perform with Queen, has been canceled.

From Organizers:

It is with very heavy hearts and much regret that we announce the cancellation of Sonisphere Knebworth 2012.

Putting the festival together in what is proving to be a very challenging year was more difficult than we anticipated and we have spent the last few months fighting hard to keep Sonisphere in the calendar. Unfortunately circumstances have dictated that we would be unable to run the festival to a standard that both the artists and that Sonispheres audience would rightly expect.

We want to express our deepest regrets to the artists and to thank all the staff, suppliers and contractors who worked so hard with us to try and pull off what has proven to be an impossible task and we know how much they share in our disappointment. We also want to send a huge thanks to the Sonisphere fans who stuck by us and we are so sorry that we cant fulfil what we set out to do.

Ticket holders will automatically receive a full refund direct from their ticket agents.

Queen with Adam Lambert to Headline Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth Park

With a quarter of a century having since passed, rock legends Queen are to return to play a second concert at the venue that provided them with the setting for one of their biggest and most historic concerts.

Queens Brian May and Roger Taylor today confirmed the band will headline the second day of this years Sonisphere Festival appearing at the festival home ground Knebworth Park, Stevenage, on Saturday July 7.

Knebworth was the setting for Queens final concert with Freddie Mercury in August 1986.

May and Taylor also confirmed that for this special one-off concert the bands only UK concert appearance in 2012 they will be joined by US singer-songwriter Adam Lambert.

Since first encountering each other during American Idol Season 8 in May 2009 where Lambert joined the band to perform "We Are the Champions" the two have repeatedly hinted at a future collaboration, most recently with Taylor telling Billboard Magazine "He (Adam)has grown into a really great performer with an astonishing voice with a range that's great. We would like to work with him again. There's nothing signed just yet but it could be very exciting."

Their eight minute MTVE set ignited an immediate reaction across the internet with social network sites buzzing with excitement and campaigning for a more formal union between Queen and Lambert. The Sonisphere 2012 Knebworth stage will at last provide an eager public the opportunity to see May, Taylor and Lambert delve deeper into exploring their very evident artistic appreciation of one another.

Says Brian May : Judging by my incoming mail, this decision will make a lot of people very happy. It's a worthy challenge for us, and I'm sure Adam would meet with Freddie's approval! And what better place to revisit, and walk those emotional paths than Knebworth ? It will be a rush.

Lambert adds: I'm completely in awe of the Queen phenomenon. The thought of sharing the stage for a full set is so beautifully surreal. I'm honoured to be able to pay my respects to Freddie's memory. He's a personal hero of mine and I am deeply grateful for the chance to sing such powerful music for fans of this legendary band. I know the evening will be a huge milestone for me, and with the support of Brian, Roger and the rest of the band I know magic will be on display.

s previous performance at Knebworth Park, close on twenty-six years ago , August 9, 1986, was set up to be the glorious last stop for the bands monstrously successful Magic Tour which had spread out across Europe over eight weeks of that summer. Over a million people had already paid to see them.

Now riding one of the highest crests in their career, Queen drew a record crowd of 120,000, their biggest ever UK audience. Coming on the back of two stunning shows at Wembley Stadium - to this day regarded as among their finest performances - anticipation was high.

Queen delivered the goods, winding up the crowd by arriving above their heads in a custom decorated helicopter, and then going on to perform a Queen textbook set to a deliriously enthusiastic audience, winding up with an emotional God Save the Queen and Freddie wishing his audience sweet dreams.

A baby was born during the show and departing fans created one of the biggest traffic jams in British recorded history.

What no-one in that Knebworth Park audience, and as far as we know , not even the band could anticipate that day, was that a new chapter in Queens history was being written: after more than 700 concerts together, what was taking place was the very last live concert of Freddie Mercury with Queen.

With the exception of an appearance in 1988 with Spanish operatic soprano Montserrat Caballe to launch Barcelonas successful bid for the 1992 Olympic Games performing their duet , Mercury would never again be seen performing to a public audience.

On what will undoubtedly rate as one of this summers most highly anticipated and emotionally charged concerts Queens Roger Taylor says: "I remember Knebworth as being the most incredible gig, with the most amazing audience and the sound on stage was utterly perfect. It was a fitting last stand before a live audience for Freddie. It will be a real challenge to complete the circle by returning with Adam."

Did Adam's Fans Give Him a Birthday Gift?

The full audio for "Better Than I Know Myself" was posted to VEVO and You Tube on December 16. Shortly thereafter, Adam's fans set a goal to get it to 1 million views by his birthday, as a "gift" to him. Well, Adam's birthday was this past Sunday, so how did it go?

His BTIKM video (audio) reached over 2 million views....IF you combine the view counts from theofficial VEVO channelwith the view counts fromYou Tube.

Could this be an indication of how the video will do when it is released on February 3? If you look at the view count for the Behind the Scenes footage of the video, which was just posted on Friday, that might be an even better indicator. It's already approaching 1 million views on both VEVO and You Tube. It appears Adam's fans might be getting some help on this one, which shows signs of a lot of interest. Looks like it's gonna be a sure fire winner!

What does it mean to give up your birthday? Instead of asking for presents, ask people to donate to Charity: Water for your birthday, and help change lives.

Adam has once again, asked his fans to donate to Charity:Water for his Birthday. The goal he set is $100,000. At the time of this writing, over $30,000 has been donated. In addition he has asked his fans to "give up" their Birthday for Charity:Water as well. He's hoping that collectively $1,000,000 can be raised this year.

Adam recently sat down with Yahoo! Music to talk about his upcoming album, Trespassing. This exclusive interview gave Adam the chance to talk about turning thirty, finding love and how the last two years have affected his music and helped him evolve as an artist.

On Trespassing vs. For Your Entertainment: "The last album was kind of this showy, theatrical, over-the-top thing; it was me kind of escaping into this rock-star fantasy that I had always had, almost like a big game of dress-up. I think this one came more from the inside out. It came from me saying, 'Well, what do I want to talk about in my music? What do I want to express from a personal place?'"

On the new song "Broken English": "It's talking about communication and how sometimes language isn't the only way we communicate. People rely so heavily on words sometimes, and it's talking about the hidden meanings of things and the communication that can occur outside of spoken words--body language, eye contact, and how much beauty and magic there can be in that."

With a new album on the way and thirtieth birthday looming, Access Hollywood caught up with him to talk about the future.“Half of me is scared to even utter the word ‘thirty,’ and the other half of me is really looking forward to it.” On his forthcoming album, TRESPASSING Adam explained, “It’s kind of like a pass for a listener to trespass in my life, into my reality. I wrote songs on the album that are really fun and crazy and party songs, and then I wrote songs on the album that are dark and deal with anxiety and stress.”

Sugarscape: "Outlaws Of Love" - we're told, is the most personal song Adam's ever written. Fans who worry that Adam's voice might not be showcased enough on the album can sleep easy as this song is all raw, tumbling emotion poured out in breathy, lingering vocal

4Music: "Cuckoo" - screams chart-topper, as it builds into a feast of jubilant electro-pop beats. Adam brings to the table strong, rock vocals as the track breaks into a raw and rough party track with echoes of 80s dance music.
